Not sure if you want to hire or buy your fancy dress costume ?
With us you can choose either option. If you want a quality fancy dress costume then costume hire is often best.
As a guide, the cost of hiring a costume is typically £42-£45 or so. The advantages are that you have a complete costume that is often unique, sometimes hand made and far superor to a typical off the shelf packet costume costing the same or more.
Fancy Dress Hire Costumes are made to superior designs and styles and top quality fabrics and trimmings are used. Petticoats and accessories are often included.
If you want to hire a fancy dress costume we recommend you call in the shop a week or two before your party to see what you want, when you have tried on the costume and finalised your choices, then the fancy dress costume can be reserved for the dates required. At peak times the earlier you reserve the more choice is available
.
Please note that due to the value of costumes a security deposit is required. Terms and Conditions apply to all Costume Hire and you will automatically be charged for any damage, late returns or missing items.
Buying a fancy dress costume can be quick and easy. We are stockists of all major fancy dress brands - and have a range of popular costumes available to buy - not just the "economy" versions that you tend to see everywhere, but also the higher quality and more expensive options. What's more - in many cases you can try on before you buy as we keep a stock of the more popular costumes to hand so you can make sure it is really what you want.
It is fair to say that there are a lot of people out there offering their fancy dress costumes on line, but if you look around you soon realise that these costumes are sourced from a small number of suppliers. We sell these too but please be aware that you do tend to get what you pay for, you would not expect a £15 suit to fit well or last very long - the same goes for fancy dress costumes. We have had many customers who come in for help - initially having purchased elsewhere online and are then disappointed with the "costume" they've received - so please keep in mind that you tend to get what you pay for.

The images we show are intended to give you an idea of what the final costumes could look like - the end result will depend on stock, size, budget and you.
